Parchment

Parchment is a general purpose application for writing and editing text files.

It is intended for users writing prose and computer code.

Parchment supports keyboards, mice, and even touch screens. It should also display text in any human language so long as fonts are installed for them.

Parchment has an intentionally small set of features specifically chosen to reduce friction between you and your work. Your train of thought won’t be derailed by untimely interruptions, and you won’t need to spend your time learning how to use weird, unintuitive features.

Parchment has not yet been released for download, but its source code is available on my GitHub.
